m6A Prediction Tool in Rice

RNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) has been reported to control diverse genetic information and metabolic switches including RNA decay, translation efficiency, nuclear retention, and splicing. Transcriptome-wide profile of m6A has been revealed in rice. In our SMEP, users could easily enquiry and predict the potential m6A site on targeted DNA regions.

Note:

As RNA m6A was experimentally detected by m6A-IP-seq with specific anti-m6A antibody, this experiment yields peak sequences and cannot recognize single nt sites on mRNA, we have trained this content using peak sequences. Thus, this example for m6A prediction by SMEP model indicates peak sequences.
